Buying a new upright bass should be an exciting event!  At the String Emporium, we understand this and love to share in the excitement with our customers.  Besides getting a top quality, premier Thompson bass from us, It's quite common that you may also need a (better) bow, a pickup, an upgraded cover or all the above...  The String Emporium is quickly becoming the upright bass players', one shop stop and with the packaged offers here, you'll see why!  Here you can add or combine most any of the same, top quality accessories at greatly reduced packaged prices.

With our quality products and accessories we are bound by the traditional agreements with our manufacturers to only show and advertise these very same name brand products at specific 'MAP' pricing.  That is, the Manufacturer's "suggested" Advertised Price.  For good measure, we advertise at the lowest agreed pricing.  When buying a new (or even old upright bass), we are then clear to offer packages that when combined with a bass, we can really offer some really great deals and savings. (As if our affordable upright basses aren't priced low enough already!)  We call this the 'ABPD' (Amazing Bass Package Deals)...someone's got to have some fun here!  This is one of our most popular pages.  We have recently expanded the offerings here as well as the immense savings. 

How to use the following packaged deals page:  At the end of each numbered package, we show that particular packaged price so that you can add any particular package with your specific model bass.  For example, if you look at #1, a Thompson, RM-100, Standard bass is $1,485, and the package of the Tuff-bag cover and Realist is $310.  If you are planning to buy our upgraded Thompson Hybrid (RM-200) bass, simply add the same package price of $310 to the Hybrid ($2,185), the total then, $2,495.  Some basses, like our G.B. Rogeri bass or Wan-Bernadel bass already come with the Tuff-Bag included with the price.  For any additional single accessory or item, refer to the charted itemized prices. For those just wanting a pickup or cover (single items) not shown here, simply call (800) 600-2689 or email us and we will give that confidential low price.
